Napoli have every hope of maintaining their 100 per cent record as they welcome a struggling Cagliari under their former coach Walter Mazzarri.

The Partenopei have blown every opponent out of the water so far in this Serie A season and sit atop the table with five wins out of five, scoring 14 goals and conceding just two. Victor Osimhen can’t seem to stop scoring at the moment and that’s with Dries Mertens currently out injured.

Cagliari, on the other hand, have had a dire start to their campaign and already sacked Leonardo Semplici. Mazzarri had hope after a 2-2 draw away to Lazio on his debut, but that new coach effect had already worn off by the midweek 2-0 home defeat to Empoli.

The good news for the Sardinians is the return of Gabriele Zappa after his ban, plus Kevin Strootman and Diego Godin from injury.
