Maurizio Sarri meets Juventus for the first time since the Bianconeri sacked him in 2020.

The Tuscan tactician won the Serie A title in 2019-20, but it was not enough to avoid sacking at the end of the season. During his pre-match press conference, the former Napoli and Chelsea coach said that the Serie A giants underestimated the Scudetto he won in Turin.

Lazio‘s main doubt concerns Ciro Immobile. The striker missed Italy’s last two games with an injury, but he could be eligible to play against the Bianconeri. He will undergo one last medical test before the match on Saturday morning.

If he won’t be fit to play, Pedro will likely start as a false nine.

Juventus must cope without Paulo Dybala and Aaron Ramsey.

The Argentinean sustained a calf injury while on international duty with Argentina while Ramsey picked up a muscle injury after his return to Turin from Wales.

Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia De Sciglio and Federico Bernardeschi are also on the treatment table.

The Italian winger won’t return to action until mid-December, while De Sciglio could be back into the squad from next week.
