Serie A Preview | Bologna vs. Lazio: Muriqi looking for redemption

by | Oct 2, 2021 18:33

Lazio are unbeaten in three games, while Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side must react after a 4-2 defeat at Empoli.

The Rossoblu were sent to training retreat after last weekend’s loss in Tuscany. They have three players out of action while Nicola Sansone is in doubt for the game with muscular fatigue.

Lazio must cope without their star striker Ciro Immobile who sustained a muscular injury and will miss Italy’s Nations League clash against Spain next week. Matta Zaccagni is also injured, therefore Vedat Muriqi is expected to start as the Biancocelesti sole striker at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Form Guide: Bologna (L D L W D) Lazio (W D D L W)

Stat fact: Lazio have only lost one of their last nine away games at Bologna, but the Rossoblu can win their second game in a row against the Biancocelesti for the first time since 1997.
