Serie A Preview | Atalanta vs. Sassuolo: Scamacca’s time to shine

Two of the most entertaining Serie A teams last season, Atalanta and Sassuolo, haven’t reached their pick ahead of the Gewiss Stadium meeting.

La Dea lost their last home match against Fiorentina, while Davide Dionisi’s side have suffered back-to-back defeats against Torino and Roma.

Atalanta’s Luis Muriel is unavailable and he will be so for quite a long time as he will remain on the treatment table until the break. The same goes for Hans Hateboer, who is not expected to return until late November. However, Marteen De Roon returns after a suspension.

Dionisi must cope without Pedro Obiang and Filippo Romagna and Gianluca Scamacca will likely start his first game of the season for the Neroverdi with Giacomo Raspadori on the bench.
