Juventus defender Alex Sandro is expected to return to group training tomorrow so he could be available against Frosinone on Sunday, while Simone Inzaghi could rest three regular Inter starters in Lecce.

Juventus are preparing to host Frosinone at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday and Max Allegri will likely rely on Alex Sandro, who partially trained with the group on Friday.

Football Italia understands the Brazilian defender will likely return to group training on Saturday, so he may be available in the next Serie A match.

A few regular Inter starters will probably rest on Sunday against Lecce, as reported by Pasquale Guarro. The likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolò Barella and Yann Sommer are expected to start on the bench at the Stadio Via De Mare on Sunday. The Swiss international has a fever so Emil Audero may start his first Serie A game for the Nerazzurri.

Napoli star striker Victor Osimhen also has a fever so he trained separately on Friday but will be available against Cagliari on Sunday.

Roma, Milan, Atalanta and Fiorentina learned their opponents in the Europa League and Conference League Round of 16 on Friday. The Giallorossi were paired with Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton, the Rossoneri will meet Slavia Praha and Atalanta got Sporting CP, while Fiorentina will play Maccabi Haifa.

There was good news for Serie A clubs from the UEFA coefficient rankings as Milan and Roma have overtaken Tottenham and Man Utd.

Last but not least, Bologna comfortably defeated struggling Hellas Verona by two goals to nil at the Dall’Ara in the first game of the 26th round of Serie A fixtures. Thiago Motta’s men have risen into the Champions League positions behhind Milan and in front of Atalanta, while Verona remain rooted to the relegation zone, in 18th with 20 points.
