Tributes poured in for Inter legend Andreas Brehme on Tuesday, while Francesco Calzona took charge of his first training session at Napoli and Milan and Rafael Leao responded to a racist fan on social media.

It was another busy day for Serie A clubs but it started with a very sad news from Germany where Inter legend Brehme passed away aged 63.

Many of his ex-teammates at the Stadio Meazza, including a dejected Beppe Bergomi paid tribute to the legendary defender on Italian TV. Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer did the same on social media, saying his name was inspired by the German legend.

Inter will meet Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 tonight and will be wearing a black armband.

Their city rival Milan are preparing for a Europa League match against Rennes on Thursday and reacted to racist insults from one of their fans to Rafael Leao.

Napoli will host Barcelona at the Stadio Maradona tomorrow and will have a new coach in charge, Francesco Calzona, who oversaw his first training session at Castel Volturno on Tuesday.

Juventus will host Frosinone at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, and Massimiliano Allegri has urged his players to raise the level of attention starting from the next match as the Bianconeri have not yet secured a Champions League placement.
