Four Serie A clubs are still without a coach and only eight have already confirmed that they will continue with the same tactician in 2024-25.

Napoli confirmed the appointment of Antonio Conte on Wednesday, while Fiorentina announced Raffaele Palladino on Tuesday.

However, many clubs still have yet to confirm their new coaches for 2024-25, including Juventus and Milan.

Although the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri are believed to have already reached agreements with Thiago Motta and Paulo Fonseca, no official announcement has yet been made.

One of the most sought-after coaches in the league is Marco Baroni, who impressively managed to secure survival with Hellas Verona despite a troubled campaign off the pitch.

As per Sky Sport Italia, the Tuscan tactician has held talks with Monza and is the leading candidate for the role ahead of Milan legends Alessandro Nesta and Andrea Pirlo.

As per Sport Mediaset, Baroni has also met Cagliari and is waiting to see if Igor Tudor will eventually stay at Lazio. The Croatian tactician has a contract until 2025, but multiple sources claim he and the club have different views on the summer transfer campaign.

Bologna are soon expected to announce Vincenzo Italiano, while Torino will get Paolo Vanoli from Venezia by paying a €1m clause, according to Sky Sport. The Granata’s ex-coach Ivan Juric has also been linked with Cagliari.

Davide Nicola and Fabio Cannavaro are in a similar situation at Empoli and Udinese as they are expected to remain beyond the summer but haven’t yet reached an agreement with their clubs.

Newly promoted Venezia have been linked with Eusebio Di Francesco and even Maurizio Sarri, but the ex-Chelsea boss is believed to be too expensive for the Lagunari.

UPDATE: Lazio are working to terminate Tudor’s contract, so the Biancocelesti will be looking for a new coach, too.
