Serie A: Napoli vs Fiorentina – Probable line-ups

Napoli will be looking to keep up with the pack at the top of the Serie A table with a win over Fiorentina.

The match between the Partenopei and the Viola kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples.

Rudi Garcia’s Napoli have been licking their wounds in recent days after their painful 3-2 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League, a match that briefly seemed within their grasp before they were forced to walk away emptyhanded.

The defending champions currently sit fourth in the table and will be keen to maintain their momentum as they look to close the gap with league leaders Milan.

Napoli cannot count on the injured Pierluigi Gollini and Juan Jesus. Amir Rrahmani is in doubt as he continues working off a muscle issue.

Fiorentina’s domestic campaign has started well and the team find themselves fifth in the table, tied on points with Napoli.

Vincenzo Italiano’s side have looked a little shakier in Europe, suffering back-to-back draws against Genk and Ferencvaros in the Conference League.

The Viola are without Dodo, Gaetano Castrovilli, Yerry Mina and Oliver Christensen, all of whom are sidelined with injuries.

Probable line-ups:

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Ostigard, Natan, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia.

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Kayode, Milenkovic, Martinez Quarta, Parisi; Arthur, Mandragora; Nico Gonzalez, Bonaventura, Brekalo; Nzola.
