Monza face Bologna in a match that Lega Calcio refused to postpone after Pablo Marì’s stabbing last week, while Bologna travel to the U-Power Stadium without their leading scorer Marko Arnautovic.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

Monza wanted the match postponed after their defender Pablo Marì was stabbed in a supermarket near Milan on Thursday. The Arsenal loanee will have to rest for two months before gradually returning to training.

Armando Izzo is also not available for the Brianzoli, so Marlon, Donati and Carboni should start in a three-man backline.

Christian Gytkjær is the favourite to start up front with Matteo Pessina and Filippo Ranocchia behind him.

Bologna are without the injured Denso Kasius, Jerdy Schouten and Kevin Bonifazi. Their leading scorer Arnautovic didn’t join the team in Monza after failing to train on Wednesday and Thursday due to gastroenteritis.

Joshua Zirkzee will replace the Austria international.

Bologna didn’t win any of their last three away games against newly promoted teams and have collected one draw and four defeats away at the Dall’Ara this season.

Only Spezia (0) have collected fewer points away from home so far.
