Monza take on Udinese at the U-Power Stadium. Follow the game live.

Giovanni Stroppa and Andrea Sottil are already under pressure ahead of today’s meeting. It kicks off at 17.30 UK time.

Monza lost the opening two games against Torino and Napoli, while Udinese lost against Milan and picked up a draw against Salernitana.

Stroppa has lost the last eight Serie A games, including six with Crotone between 2020 and 2021. Andrea Ranocchia suffered a fibula injury last week and will be out for three months, Marco D’Alessandro, Pablo Mari and Dany Motha Carvalho are also on the treatment table, so Stroppa doesn’t have many options at the back.

Marlon also suffered an adductor injury hours before kick-off, so he is not available.

Udinese are without the suspended Perez (two games). Bram Nuytinck starts over Jaka Bijol in defence.

Udinese picked up no draws in the last ten games against newly-promoted teams (seven wins and three defeats), the last draw was against Stroppa’s Crotone in 2020.

Monza-Udinese confirmed line-ups:

Monza (3-5-2): Di Gregorio; Caldirola, Marrone, Carlos Augusto; Birindelli, Colpani, Sensi, Valoti, Molina; Petagna, Caprari.

Udinese (3-5-2): Silvestri; Becao, Nuytinck, Masina; Pereyra, Makengo, Walace, Lovric, Udogie; Beto, Deulofeu.
