Matteo Gabbia will replace the injured Malick Thiaw in Milan‘s central defence against Lecce, while Christian Pulisic will start as an attacking midfielder.

It kicks off at 14:00 UK time (GMT+1).

The Rossoneri seek the fifth consecutive Serie A win for the first time this season. They must cope without the suspended Ruben Loftus-Cheek and the injured Thiaw, Tommaso Pobega and Pierre Kalulu, but Theo Hernandez returns from suspension.

Gabbia will start alongside Fikayo Tomori in central defence; Ismael Bennacer has had a fever this week, so he will initially go on the bench, making room for Yacine Adli in central midfield.

USMNT captain Pulisic will play as an attacking midfielder to replace Loftus-Cheek, so Samuel Chukwueze will start on the right wing. Stefano Pioli praised the Nigeria international during a pre-match press conference on Friday.

Mohamed Kaba and Kastriot Dermaku are out of action for Lecce who are unbeaten in two games under Luca Gotti and haven’t yet conceded with the 56-year-old in charge.
