According to the Corriere dello Sport, the fixtures will be spread out to ensure the television pay-per-view companies and clubs are happy.

They must also avoid early afternoon kick-offs, as the Players’ Association (AIC) has repeatedly refused to play in the heat of an Italian summer during June and July.

In order to get the calendar completed by August 2, they would therefore have to play a match every day.

It’s reported there would be a Monday 21.00 local time (20.00 in the UK) kick-off, then on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday games at 19.00 and 21.00 local time.

Friday would have one 21.00 encounter, while Saturday and Sunday have matches spread out at 17.15, 19.30 and 21.45.
