Join us for all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s Serie A games, starting with Milan-Sassuolo before Udinese-Napoli, Fiorentina-Verona, Genoa-Inter and Bologna-Juventus.

We begin at 12:30 CET (11:30) GMT with the lunch-time match between Milan and Sassuolo.

The Rossoneri are the joint-Serie A table leaders alongside Napoli. The Partenopei will visit Nicolò Zaniolo’s Udinese later today at 15:00 CET.

Fiorentina host Verona at the same time, and it’s a big game in Florence as the Tuscans sit at the bottom of the table with no victories so far this season. The Gialloblù are the closest team in the standings as they have just three points more than La Viola.

Cristian Chivu will visit his former Roma teammate Daniele De Rossi at Marassi in Genoa-Inter at 18:00 CET, while Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus will travel to Bologna for a tricky fixture at the Dall’Ara.

Inter, Napoli, Milan and Bologna will also be involved in the Supercoppa Italiana Final Four next week.

Vincenzo Italiano

Vincenzo Italiano insists the defeat to Juventus ‘does not diminish’ Bologna and their campaign, as they couldn’t recover from the double whammy of goal and red card.

Luciano Spalletti

Luciano Spalletti insists the victory over Bologna was ‘the most important’ of his Juventus career so far, but notes where Juan Cabal, Lois Openda and Jonathan David can improve.

Juan Cabal

“I swapped shirts with Bernardeschi, who played for Juve, so I wanted his shirt. He was at Juventus, I saw him play a lot, and wanted to bring home the shirt as well as the three points. The team gave their all today.

“I kissed the tattoo with my son’s name, I got it done recently, and he brought me good luck.

“The coach wants a lot from me, because he knows I have much to give this team and I work really hard all week.”

Lloyd Kelly

“It is a very important win, we know it’s a difficult game. We had to play our best football to be able to come away with a win today,” Kelly told DAZN Italia.

“It’s nice to have Bremer back, we know he’s an important player for Juventus, and I’m sure he’s happy to be back with the team too.”

Openda chance!

Openda pounces on an error, is clear on goal, fires over the bar! Spalletti insists Ravaglia got something on that, but no corner here either.

94'

Bologna pushing down to 10 men, Bernardeschi shot deflected off… Holm.

De Silvestri is booked for demanding a corner, but the ref was right, it hit Holm.

Save on Openda!

Openda spreads it down the left for Yildiz, but the shot is charged down inside the area.

Cabal then rolls across for Openda and what a one-handed save from Ravaglia, getting down for the daisy-cutter from 12 yards!

90'

Sulemana booked for a bit of a clumsy lunge on Openda.

Into 5 minutes of added time.

88'

Conceicao off, Miretti on for Juve.

84'

Cambiaghi has cramp and Bologna used up all their substitutions.

83'

Bernardeschi with a snapshot from the D, but too weak to trouble Di Gregorio.

82'

Bologna seem to be in a 3-4-2 formation now. Not much to lose, after all.

81'

Bernardeschi on for Bologna, Lucumi off, who it turns out had a fitness problem too.

79'

Conceicao onto the Yildiz through ball, tries to cut back, goes down, but the referee waves play on.

Conceicao ran into Lucumi, so that’s his fault. What hurt him more was Lucumi literally DRAGGING Conceicao up by the hips and telling him to stop being a baby.

76'

Big moment for Juve, as Gleison Bremer makes his comeback, replacing Teun Koopmeiners.

76'

Yildiz rolls across from the right for Openda, but a Bologna defender just about gets something on it.

73'

Holm and De Silvestri on, Moro (who is hurt anyway) and Zortea off for Bologna.

71'

Koopmeiners free kick into the wall, so is the Cabal follow-up.
