21:43 Full-time! Napoli 1-1 Torino
It was all Napoli at the end. Kvaratskhelia looked threatening every time he got on the ball in the second half, but a resilient defensive performance from Torino, particularly in their own area, ensures that the points are shared at the Maradona. Match report to follow
21:41 Dazzling footwork from Kvaratskhelia
Amazing how he managed to keep hold of the ball there. His move ends in a back-pass to Anguissa, who squanders the cross, but the Georgian displayed a mesmerising bit of footwork to keep the ball away from four or five Torino defenders in the area just before
21:38 Kvaratskhelia wants the winner
He pops up on the right-hand side this time and hammers another powerful shot across the face of goal, but out for a goal-kick
21:37 Kvaratskhelia finds the bar
The Georgian sends a deep cross in from the left half-space. It’s too deep for a Napoli header, but it troubles Milinkovic-Savic, who just about manages to tip it onto the bar. That almost went in, somehow!
21:36 Into injury time
Six minutes added on. Napoli and their supporters had been hoping for more, by the sounds of things
21:35 Lazaro also down
He had only just come on, but does genuinely appear to be struggling. Get the sense Torino would be quite happy with a point here now
21:34 Torino clear, for now
Zapata heads it away, but only as far as a Napoli defender. The hosts go forwards again, but this time it’s Sanabria who goes down after challenging Ostigard for a header in his own area
21:32 Napoli pushing for an equaliser
The Partenopei win a corner off their last attack. Bellanova and Zapata both hit the deck in an attempt to slow the final few minutes down, there is then confusion from the Torino bench over substitutions, and Napoli are still waiting to get their corner taken
21:31 Napoli want a penalty
Kvaratskhelia sends an absolutely thumping shot towards Milinkovic-Savic, who can only parry back into his area. Osomihen goes to ground on the follow-up, the whole stadium want a penalty, but referee Daniele Orsato is having none of it
21:29 Results in nothing
Napoli have two chances from either flank to put a ball into the area, but Torino are defending their box very well and earn themselves a goal-kick after a few minutes of Partenopei pressure
21:28 Napoli corner
Kvaratskhelia twists and turns in trademark fashion, but his attempted cross is put behind for a corner
21:26 Wrong call, Bellanova
The Torino wing-back breaks encouragingly after Napoli lose control in an attack of their own. Bellanova could free one of his two teammates running ahead of him, but attempts a strike from 40-odd yards out, which was only ever rising
21:22 Milinkovic-Savic at full stretch
Napoli get a series of corners, the last of which falls to Juan Jesus, who steers a header towards the far post. Milinkovic-Savic does very well to catch it while at full stretch
21:20 And, Sanabria’s equaliser
Get on your bike, Antonio Sanabria! 🚲

21:08 GOAL! Napoli 1-1 Torino – Sanabria
Sanabria has Torino level almost immediately. Gineitis’ sends in a corner, which Sanabria thumps in acrobatically after a few rogue touches in the area. Game on!
21:06 GOAL! Napoli 1-0 Torino – Kvaratskhelia
Kvaratshelia, with his third major chance of the game, finally has Napoli ahead. The Partenopei break on the counter after a nice run from Vlasic down the other end, but Juan Jesus stops him and sends a decent ball forwards, which results a Mario Rui overlap. The Portguese puts a great cross in towards the near-post, which Kvaratskhelia pokes home for 1-0
21:04 Torino save
Anguissa tries a difficult volley, pver the shoulder and on the bounce, but Milinkovic-Savic is in the right position to deny him
21:01 Torino giving it a go
The visitors have come out attacking in the early stages of the second half. Rodriguez tries a shot from the edge of the area, which doesn’t threaten Meret, but the coach-less Toro are having an encouraging go here
20:59 Double Torino corner
Torino get two opportunities to send a cross into the area. Zapata makes decent contact with the second, but it flies over the bar for a Napoli goal-kick
20:56 Politano okay again
The Italy international fires a powerful strike in off his left foot – a-la-Arjen Robben – but the direction is lacking and Milinkovic-Savic gathers
20:54 Politano down
Another break in play as Politano goes down off the ball, Torino roll the ball out of play so he can receive treatment. Looks to be an issue with his shoulder. Politano now back on his feet on the touchline
20:51 Napoli corner
Napoli win the ball back off kick-off and Politano does well yet again to earn the Partenopei another corner. The delivery does not end in a goal, but Napoli do retain possession
20:50 Second half underway
Zapata with the kick, and away we go
20:34 Half-time: Napoli 0-0 Torino
The Partenopei with the better of the chances so far, but neither side looking particularly clinical in front of goal thus far
20:33 Boungiorno booked
Osimhen looks to break on his own from the halfway line. He juggles the ball on his head, before being pulled back by Boungiorno, who goes into the book
20:30 Into first-half stoppage time
Three minutes added on at the Maradona
20:28 Kvaratskhelia close!
Kvrataskhelia gets ahead of his defender in the area and sends a diving header on target, which Milinkovic-Savic gets a hand to, resulting in a Napoli corner which leads to nothing after a poorly-executed routine
20:25 Corner Torino, ambitious Kvaratskhelia
Ricardo Rodriguez’s left footed free-kick clips the wall and goes behind for a corner. Bourngiorno’s header comes to nothing and Napoli break with Kvaratskhelia, who attempts to lob Milinkovic-Savic from the half-way line – unsuccessfully
20:24 Torino free-kick, Napoli yellow
Juan Jesus is booked for bringing down Pietro Pellegri on the edge of the are after a tidy run from Nikola Vlasic. Dangerous position, the resulting free-kick
20:20 Buongiorno down now
A coming together between Politano and Boungiorno leaves the Torino defender down on the ground in need of treatment. Not an awful lot of football played over the last five or 10 minutes here
20:19 Di Lorenzo okay to continue for now
Play resumes, Di Lorenzo is back on his feet, but still looking slightly sheepish
20:17 Di Lorenzo down
The Napoli captain collided with Zapata and is now feeling a lot of discomfort in his ankle. Medical staff on, play halted
20:13 Great save Meret
Zapata launches a snap-shot from the edge of the area after Torino snatched possession in the middle of the park. Meret does very well to get down low, quickly, and pushes away for a corner
20:09 Worry for Politano
Politano went down directly after Napoli’s last attack. He was not involved at the time. Medical team came on and he is currently being seen to on the sidelines while play continues
20:08 Osimhen mis-cues
Anguissa delivers a great cross towards Osimhen, but his header ends up coming off his shoulder and goes wide for a goal-kick
20:04 Napoli pushing
Zielinski sends a cross towards the available Osimhen in the area, but the ball is slightly behind the Nigerian, who is unable to get a shot away. The volume from crowd picked up directly afterwards. Encouraging signs for the Partenopei
20:03 Almost a disaster for Torino
Napoli get a low cross in towards the Torino six-yard box, which Boungiorno gets a slightly worrying touch to, before being gathered by Milinkovic-Savic
19:59 Kvaratskhelia must score!
Politano frees Kvaratskhelia in the area, who takes a touch past Rodriguez’s sliding challenge, but fires straight towards the onrushing Milinkovic-Savic one-on-one. Big let off for Torino
19:59 Torino corner
Zielinski loses possession in the middle, Linetty pounces for Torino and wins a corner after an enticing one-two. A teasing delivery is punched away by Meret, who wins a free-kick in the process
19:55 Goal-kick Torino
Napoli are unable to capitalise from their corner and give Torino a goal-kick during the second phase
19:55 Napoli corner
Politano does well, bursting down the right-hand side before winning a corner for his side on the same flank
19:48 Comes to nothing
The ball eventually falls to Osimhen, but he is unable to get a shot away, eventually giving Torino a free-kick of their own
19:47 Free-kick Napoli
Osimhen does well to win Napoli a free-kick from a central position, around 45 yards out. Politano to deliver
19:46 Kick-off!
Stanislav Lobotka gets the ball rolling, and we are underway
19:41 Kick-off approaching
Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Ricardo Rodriguez lead the two teams out of the tunnel at the Maradona
19:16 Line-ups
Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia lead the line for Napoli on Friday evening, while Torino turn to striker Pietro Pellegri, who comes in to replace Antonio Sanabria in attack for the Granata.
