That is all for the Liveblog. Check the main site for more post-match coverage.

All three are now going around the pitch saluting the fans, while their kids run out.

Stefano Pioli

“It is the night for thanks, so I start by thanking those people who wanted me here and who supported me, who gave me the opportunity to coach a fantastic club. Thank you to the others, to all the employees of Casa Milan, of Milanello, my staff who worked so hard.

“I thank my players, you know what I think of you, that you are special and certain things will remain.

“Then there are all of you. You pushed us on, motivated us, gave us the kind of energy we tried to put onto the pitch.”

His speech was interrupted by an impromptu rendition of the iconic Scudetto chant ‘Pioli’s On Fire,’ with the DJ joining in and the players throwing him into the air, microphone still in hand.

“I have to finish! We lost and suffered together. We won and rejoiced together. What we felt remains. You lit a fire in my heart, it will always remain lit and I will never forget you. Thank you.”

The players have pounced! Pioli getting lifted! He keeps trying to tell them not to, he’s still got the microphone, but is getting flung!

One last rendition of Pioli’s On Fire!

The crowd started it, the DJ joined in.

Pioli also gets a signed Milan shirt, but not one with his name on it.

He hugs the directors who effectively fired him this week.

And now it is the turn of Stefano Pioli. He watches his video.

Olivier Giroud speaks

“I want to thank the club for their faith in me. All the directors who welcomed me like a brother in this family. Thank you Ibra,” said Giroud.

“I also wish to thank the coach for his confidence and support in me during the difficult moments we shared. It is very important to stay united in those moments.”

The former Chelsea and Arsenal striker was instrumental in the Scudetto triumph, which was in his first season at San Siro.

“We had an incredible first year, in my view one of the greatest feelings of my career. I above all want to thank all my teammates, without whom I could not do these things. We are a team, we are a family. Thanks, guys.”

As the ultras started singing his chant, Giroud looked up at the crowd and smiled.

“This chant of yours will always remain in my heart. Like Simon, when we were little, we dreamed of this Milan. Our journey makes me and my teammates very proud. I am very grateful and I will never forget these seasons at Milan. Forza Milan!”

Giroud also gets his framed, signed jersey and then speaks to the crowd.

Giroud is already crying before coming out.

Simon Kjaer

“I want to thank everyone. This is not easy for me, especially speaking Italian. I want to thank the club, the coach, his staff, you fans who gave me such joy I didn’t know was possible in the world of football. My feelings for this club are the same I have when I play for the national team, which I represented for 15 years. I was here for four years and it was enough to become my family. This latest squad made me enjoy myself every day when coming to the training ground. This has been one of the greatest joys of my life and I am so happy to share it with you. Thank you.”

Kjaer hugs everyone and receives a framed jersey signed by all his teammates.

Simon Kjaer watches his video play on the big screens before walking out to a standing ovation.

Guard of Honour

The players are lined up, the lights go down, the speaker is on the pitch reading out the names of the Milan players.

They’re playing Sympathy for the Devil in the stadium. Because Milan and the Rolling Stones have a commercial partnership.

Pioli, Giroud and Kjaer are in the tunnel, because they will be called out individually.
