Milan misplace two passes in potentially promising situations, first Reijnders and then Theo Hernandez.
It should be 3-1! Theo Hernandez loses the challenge with Brescianini, Retegui sprints clear, Maignan stands his ground and it pays off, he makes the save!

The most ridiculous part of that goal was Emerson Royal doing the ‘all clear nothing to see here’ arm wave as Lookman was right behind him.
Atalanta, they love a set play! Lookman was just about to be substituted, but he was TOTALLY unmarked at the far post, Emerson Royal had no idea he was there, corner flicked on by Kolasinac and easy header!
Milan giving it away very cheaply the last few minutes, Lookman shot palmed over the bar from a tricky angle!
Maignan can continue after treatment, not sure what that was about. We’ve never seen a goalkeeper so prone to injuries. He had dental surgery midweek, so missed the Coppa Italia.

Ruggeri is booked. It was accidental, but also very clumsy. And Theo Hernandez is down hurt. Clocked him in the face with a forearm, but he really just wasn’t looking.
