Juventus are without Federico Chiesa, so Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala lead the way in a must-win trip to giant-killers Hellas Verona, who look to four-goal hero Giovanni Simeone.

It kicks off at the Stadio Bentegodi at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

Liveblog: Serie A Wk11 Super Saturday 2021-22

The Bianconeri are back in crisis mode after a stilted draw at Inter decided by a contentious late penalty and the shock 2-1 home defeat to Sassuolo.

That left them 13 points off the leaders and fans are beginning to turn on coach Max Allegri already.

Chiesa and Mattia De Sciglio joined Moise Kean and Aaron Ramsey on the treatment table, although Federico Bernardeschi is back on the bench.

Daniele Rugani had been tipped to start, but pulled out this afternoon with gastroenteritis, while Matthijs de Ligt has a slight muscular issue.

Dybala therefore partners Morata upfront, with Kaio Jorge ready to come in, while Wojciech Szczesny returns after he was rested.

Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor was the assistant manager to Andrea Pirlo at Juventus last season, coming in at the Bentegodi just a month into the campaign to replace Eusebio Di Francesco.

He has already got some impressive results, beating both Roma and Lazio here, the latter 4-1 with Simeone scoring all four goals.

Cholito was rested for the midweek draw at Udinese, so he returns with support from Antonin Barak and Gianluca Caprari.

Ivan Ilic and Juve-owned Gianluca Frabotta are not fully fit.

Verona: Montipò; Dawidowicz, Gunter, Casale; Faraoni, Tameze, Veloso, Lazovic; Barak, Caprari; Simeone

Juventus: Szczesny; Danilo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Cuadrado, Bentancur, Arthur, Rabiot; Dybala, Morata

  1. Any shot taken at Szczesny is a goal.

Morata is the laziest & most useless footballer (not striker) in the world. He chose to fall like a kid from a touch on his precious shoulder than take an extra touch to be through on goal.

Cuadrado has only ONE forward pass. All his passes have been backwards. He chooses to dive & cry like a baby rather than pick a pass forward.

Bentancur has not made a single successful tackle.

    Bonucci is finished.

    Juventus is finished.

  2. If Allegri does not make at least three subs at half time, then I know where the problem comes from.
