Lecce and Salernitana go head-to-head with only two points separating them in the table, but while the hosts are in a good period of form, Davide Nicola is still skating on thin ice.
It kicks off at the Stadio Via del Mare at 19.45 GMT.
Newly-promoted Lecce had a bit of a shaky start, but have since really settled and had been unbeaten in six – including wins over Atalanta and Lazio and a draw with Milan – until their surprise 2-0 defeat at Verona.
They also beat Salernitana 2-1 away from home back in September and have not lost any of their last six competitive meetings with the club.
Samuel Umtiti returns from a shoulder injury, but Kastriot Dermaku and Marin Pongracic are still out of action.
Salernitana had sacked coach Nicola after a dismal run of results, only to bring him back 48 hours later, followed by a 2-0 home defeat to runaway leaders Napoli. They remain in the danger zone after just two points from their last seven games, including an historic 8-2 loss against Atalanta.
Federico Fazio, Giulio Maggiore, Norbert Gyomber and Pasquale Mazzocchi are on the treatment table, so William Troost-Ekong is thrown straight into the mix after his move from Watford.
Lecce: Falcone; Gendrey, Baschirotto, Umtiti, Pezzella; Blin, Hjulmand, Maleh; Oudin, Colombo, Strefezza
Salernitana: Ochoa; Sambia, Troost-Ekong, Bronn, Bradaric; Candreva, Coulibaly, Bohinen, Vilhena; Piatek, Dia
