Max Allegri was criticised for resting Chiesa, Dybala and De Ligt for the 1-1 draw with Inter, so they are all back in the starting XI here.

Federico Bernardeschi pulls out after dislocating his shoulder, while Mattia Perin gets a rare run-out in place of Wojciech Szczesny and Adrien Rabiot goes straight into the starting XI now he has shaken off COVID-19.

Sassuolo are forced to make one change from the side that beat Venezia 3-1, as Filip Djuricic sustained a thigh injury, so is replaced by Hamed Junior Traore.

The 4-2-3-1 experiment continues, allowing Alessio Dionisi to use Berardi, Giacomo Raspadori and this time Gregoire Defrel rather than Gianluca Scamacca together.

Juventus: Perin; Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt, De Sciglio; Chiesa, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot; Dybala, Morata

Sassuolo: Consigli: Muldur, Kaan, Ferrari, Rogerio; Maxime Lopez, Frattesi; Berardi, Raspadori, Traorè; Defrel

  1. One word, PATHETIC.

This coach should be fired and now. That should be 2 defeats on the trot as they were more than just lucky against a real team called Inter. Sarri and Pirlo had the same squad and did not take the club to these embarrassing new lows. The so called master tactician has no idea on what he is doing. At Milan he was lucky to have quality players. I have said it and will keep singing it, Conte laid the foundations and has done it everywhere only for this imposter to just leach off his work. Should have stuck with Pirlo who at least had a vision and delivered 2 trophies with no experience. This guy is living in an out dated mind sight. They have an atrocious goal scoring record and goals conceded record. Instead of playing on the front foot, they panic and only try to move the ball faster with the last 10 minutes. As for McKennie forget about the equaliser, he is at fault for the second. He was caught out of position and where was Bonucci. This man cannot defend or lead without father Chiellini and was proven again today and worst of all at home.
