Lazio 3-0 Genoa: Matias Vecino!

Guess whose assist it was? Go on, guess….

Nuno Tavares runs to the by-line and floats a cross onto the head of Vecino!

Into 4 minutes of stoppages in Monza.

90'

On the resulting Lazio corner, Vecino prods over after a ricochet into his path, that too had a deflection.

90'

Nuno Tavares low cross-shot from the left, Leali fingertips it away for a Lazio corner.

Into 5 minutes of stoppages.

Lazio 2-0 Genoa: Pedro!

That was a General Chaos goal! Tchaouna absolutely felled by Vasquez and ref gave the advantage, Castellanos pulled back from the by-line, Leali got fingertips to it, but only slowed the ball down for Pedro’s tap-in!

Castrovilli and Gigot on for Lazio, Rovella and Gila off.

Oh what a chance for Lazio!

Oh dear! Ball floated over the top, Loum Tchaouna takes a touch, tries to take it on the half-volley, but gets the bounce all wrong and shins it over!

80'
Warren Bondo sent off for Monza!

That’s just stupid. The first card for diving in the box and then arguing was stupid. This was unbelievably stupid – foot so high on Nicolussi Caviglia it landed on his thigh!

Pessina replaced by Daniel Maldini for Monza. Still nowhere near fit after a shoulder injury.

77'

Patric nods over from the resulting corner.

Tchaouna replaces Noslin for Lazio.

Genoa goalkeeper Leali has to make the save at the near post with Castellanos coming in to meet the Rovella cross. Castellanos doesn’t get the ball, does crash into the goalkeeper.

Tension in Monza!

Bondo goes down in the box, referee waves play on, then Bondo gets into a row with Zampano that includes some entirely unnecessary hair-pulling.

The pair of them are booked.

73'

Ekhator goes down under some pressure and a bit of a shirt tug from Gila, but the referee is right there and waves play on.

72'

Yeboah and Gytkjaer on for Venezia, Pohjanpalo and Oristanio off.
