Hellas Verona host Empoli at the Bentegodi in the first of two Serie A games on Monday night.

The match kicks off at 17.30 UK time.

Verona are without suspended Daniel Bessa and Nikola Kalinic when newly promoted Empoli arrive, while Gianluca Frabotta is injured.

Both teams have collected 16 points from the first 12 league games and are battling to claim the spot in the top half of the table, with Verona currently 10th, one place above Empoli.

Empoli arrive after back-to-back draws at home and won their last two away games against Salernitana and Sassuolo.

Verona have picked up four points from their last two games against Juventus and Napoli and aim to continue against Aurelio Andreazzoli’s men.
