The Rossoneri are fresh from a morale-boosting 4-0 Champions League victory away to Dinamo Zagreb, which put them one point away from securing their place in the Round of 16.

They are also still in the race to defend their Serie A title with four consecutive victories, despite the on-going injury crisis that still rules out Mike Maignan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Davide Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers and Alessandro Florenzi.

At least Brahim Diaz and Sergino Dest are available again, the Spaniard starting with Rafael Leao, Junior Messias and Origi, giving Olivier Giroud a rest.

Torino have their own problems, as they ended a run of one point from five games with a shock 2-1 victory away to Udinese.

Ola Aina is out until after the World Cup, while Antonio Sanabria is back on the treatment table too.

Former Milan striker Pietro Pellegri therefore leads the way with support from Nikola Vlasic and Aleksei Miranchuk.

The Granata have not beaten Milan since a 2-1 result here in September 2019, followed by six straight defeats between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, interrupted by a 0-0 draw in April 2022.
