Milan are torn between resting players for the Champions League semi-final and focusing on securing a top four in Serie A, so Divock Origi leads the way against a desperate Spezia who have M’Bala Nzola back.
It kicks off at the Stadio Alberto Picco at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).
The Rossoneri are still smarting after a 2-0 defeat to Inter on Wednesday and the second leg of that Champions League semi-final is coming up on Tuesday.
Stefano Pioli has to rotate, but his options are also very limited, as Malick Thiaw is suspended, with Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer, Rade Krunic, Junior Messias, Alessandro Florenzi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic out.
Origi therefore starts upfront with Ante Rebic, while Pierre Kalulu and Tommaso Pobega step in.
Spezia slipped into the bottom three last week and are now three points adrift of safety, so they are desperate to get a result here.
The good news is that star striker Nzola is fit enough to start, but Daniel Maldini – owned by Milan – Joao Moutinho, Jacopo Sala, Emil Holm and suspended Kevin Agudelo are out.
They managed just one victory in the last 16 Serie A rounds, but that was at home to Inter on March 10, along with six stalemates.
