Simone Inzaghi’s Inter have the chance to become winter champions at the half-way point of this Serie A season when they host Hellas Verona today.

The match between the Nerazzurri and the Gialloblu kicks off at 11.30 UK time at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

Inter currently sit top of the Serie A table after 18 games, two points clear of second place Juventus, and a victory over Verona today would confirm their top spot at the half-way point of the season.

The Nerazzurri cannot count on the injured Juan Cuadrado. Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella are both a booking away from receiving a one-match yellow card suspension.

Hellas Verona sit dangerously close to the relegation zone after 18 matches, being tied on points with 18th place Cagliari, so they’ll be desperate to secure any points from their trip to San Siro.

The Gialloblu are without Riccardo Saponara and Pawel Dawidowicz, both sidelined with injuries. Giangiacomo Magnani and Cyril Ngonge are both on the verge of receiving a one-match yellow card suspension.

Starting line-ups for Inter vs Hellas Verona

Hellas Verona (4-3-3): Montipo; Tchatchoua, Magnani, Coppola, Doig; Suslov, Duda, Folorunsho; Ngonge, Djuric, Mboula.
