Milan hope to shake off last week’s dramatic draw with Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic for this tricky trip to Matias Soule and Kaio Jorge’s Frosinone.
It kicks off at the Stadio Stirpe at 17.00 GMT.
Stefano Pioli had the opportunity to close on Juventus in second last week, but both Giroud and Theo Hernandez failed to convert penalties and they were caught in stoppages by Bologna for a 2-2 draw.
That ended a run of four consecutive Serie A victories for the Rossoneri, who are still missing Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw, Mattia Caldara, Tommaso Pobega and AFCON participant Samuel Chukwueze.
The good news is the return of Ismael Bennacer from international duty and on the bench, but otherwise there are no changes to the starting XI.
Frosinone had been in disastrous form with one point from seven rounds, culminating in a 5-0 defeat to Atalanta.
However, they’ve improved recently with a 3-1 win over Cagliari and draw away to Verona.
Juventus-owned strikers Soule and Kaio Jorge are the key figures, while Arjon Ibrahimovic – no relation to Zlatan – is back on the bench.
Injuries rule out Kevin Bonifazi, Anthony Oyono, Marvin Cuni, Fares Ghedjemis, Nadir Zortea, Sergio Kalaj, Mateus Lusuardi, Jaime Baez and Riccardo Marchizza.
However, Pol Lirola and Ilario Monterisi are back in the squad with deadline day signing Emanuele Valeri.
Frosinone: Turati; Gelli, Okoli, Romagnoli, Brescianini; Mazzitelli, Barrenechea, Harroui; Soulé, Kaio Jorge, Seck
Milan: Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Reijnders, Adli; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud
