Mattia De Sciglio has a chance to start for Juventus against Igor Tudor’s Lazio who will switch to a three-man defence.

It kicks off at 17:00 GMT at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Tudor makes his debut on the Lazio bench but must cope without the injured Ivan Provedel, Nicolò Rovella and Manuel Lazzari, plus the suspended Luca Pellegrini. Luis Alberto didn’t train with the team yesterday due to a minor muscle injury, but he’s still expected to start as an attacking midfielder.

Tudor will switch to a three-man defence with Alessio Romagoli, Mario Gila and Nicolò Casale starting at the back.

Juventus’ Massimiliano Allegri will make his 500th appearance as a coach in Serie A. He is short of options in attack as Dusan Vlahovic is suspended and Arek Milik is injured so Moise Kean will start for the first time since November.

Alex Sandro, Filip Kostic and Carlos Alcaraz are also injured so De Sciglio could start his first game in 10 months. The 31-year-old suffered a cruciate ligament injury in May 2023 and hasn’t yet returned to action since.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Goal.com, he’s favourite to start as a left wing-back over Samuel Iling Junior.
