Lazio are looking to bring their European momentum home and start climbing up the table as they host a Cagliari side on the rise.

The match between the Biancocelesti and the Rossoblu kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Lazio secured a spot in the Champions League knockout stages after their mid-week win over Celtic, giving the team a boost in confidence after their frustrating inconsistency in Serie A. The team sit seven points behind fourth place Napoli, putting the pressure on Maurizio Sarri and his players.

The Roman club cannot count on Nicolo Casale, Alessio Romagnoli and Mattia Zaccagni, all sidelined with injuries.

Cagliari had started the season in disastrous fashion under Claudio Ranieri but have started to turn things around in recent weeks, picking up eight points from their last five games, taking them out of the relegation zone.

The Sardinian outfit are without the injured Alessandro Di Pardo and Marko Rog.
