Igor Tudor made a dream debut on the Lazio bench, as Adam Marusic snatched a stoppage-time winner to consolidate the Juventus crisis.

Following Maurizio Sarri’s resignation and Giovanni Martusciello’s caretaker role to beat Frosinone, Tudor made his debut with a revamped three-man defence, but Ivan Provedel, Manuel Lazzari, Nicolò Rovella and suspended Luca Pellegrini missed out, with Luis Alberto not at 100 per cent. Celebrating his 500th Serie A match, Max Allegri also shook things up with a 4-3-3 formation, as Dusan Vlahovic sat out a ban with Arkadiusz Milik, Filip Kostic, Alex Sandro and Carlos Alcaraz injured. Mattia De Sciglio returned 11 months after knee surgery.

See how it unfolded on the Liveblog.

Taty Castellanos twice drilled just wide of the near post, from the edge of the area and after a give-and-go with Felipe Anderson. Pedro’s high press interrupted a Wojciech Szczesny pass out from the back, but Daichi Kamada took far too long to get the shot away.

Szczesny had his gloves stung by Felipe Anderson’s half-volley at the near post, but the first real Juventus chance was on 41 minutes when Federico Chiesa tried to steer a low finish into the far bottom corner with the inside of the right boot, Christos Mandas getting his fingertips to it.

A Chiesa curler also tested the goalkeeper, but Allegri switched back to 3-5-2 after the restart with two substitutions. It worked, as Samuel Iling-Junior’s cross found Andrea Cambiaso at the far post to test Mandas on the volley.

Adam Marusic combined with substitute Ciro Immobile for an angled drive, which the wing-back saw charged down by Gleison Bremer to go wide.

Luis Alberto came on late and had an immediate impact, setting up Matias Vecino to scuff off target, then his own strike taking a deflection off Daniele Rugani to skim the far post.

It seemed to be a second consecutive 0-0 draw for Juve, their third stalemate in a row, but Lazio had other plans. With the last kick of the game, Matteo Guendouzi floated a ball to the back post for Adam Marusic to get there before Sekulov and nod in the winner. The Bianconeri defence was caught napping, sending the home fans wild.

It means Juventus now have just one win in nine Serie A rounds.
