The opening three rounds of the Serie A 2024-25 season have been confirmed, starting with Genoa-Inter on August 17, but Juventus have two Monday matches.

The fixture list was drawn up yesterday and today the Lega Serie A gave the precise kick-off dates and times for the first three rounds.

As it is still the height of summer, it is not safe to play in the afternoon, so kick-offs are at 17.30 UK time (18.30 local) or 19.45 UK (20.45 local).

The campaign kicks off on Saturday August 17 with Genoa-Inter and Parma-Fiorentina, then in the evening Empoli-Monza and Milan-Torino.

Curiously, Juventus play on a Monday night for their first two games against Como on August 19 and Verona on August 26.

There are some huge fixtures in Week 3, including Inter-Atalanta on Friday August 30, Lazio-Milan on Saturday August 31 and Juventus-Roma on Sunday September 1.
