Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus have the chance to close the gap to league leaders Inter with a victory over a hungry Roma.

The match between the Bianconeri and the Giallorossi kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

Juventus currently sit five points behind Inter but can reduce this gap to just two points with a win over Roma, taking advantage of the Nerazzurri’s unexpected 1-1 draw with Genoa on Friday evening.

The Bianconeri cannot count on the injured Alex Sandro, Mattia De Sciglio and Moise Kean. Andrea Cambiaso is out with a suspension, and both Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are still absent due to their off-pitch issues.

Roma recovered after their poor start to the season and now sit on the cusp of the top four spots, with last weekend’s win over Napoli helping them recover after a frustrating loss to Bologna.

The Giallorossi are without Chris Smalling, Houssem Aouar and Tammy Abraham, all sidelined with injuries.

When these two teams met last season, Juventus held Roma to a 1-1 draw in Turin and suffered a 1-0 loss in the Italian capital.
