Inter striker Marko Arnautovic is favourite over Alexis Sanchez to replace the suspended Lautaro Martinez against Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari.

It kicks off at 19:45 UK time (GMT+1).

The Nerazzurri must cope without the suspended Lautaro and Benjamin Pavard, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is on a yellow card so he may start on the bench to avoid suspension in next week’s derby against Milan.

Alessandro Bastoni returns from injury and is expected to start in defence, joining Francesco Acerbi and Yann Aurel Bisseck. Matteo Darmian is favourite to start as a right midfielder, while Arnautovic was tried in a training session on Saturday alongside Marcus Thuram.

Cagliari have travelled to Milan without the suspended Nahitan Nandez and Alessandro Deiola, as well as the injured Andrea Petagna, Leonardo Pavoletti and Marco Mancosu.

Inter loanee Gaetano Oristanio is expected to start over Zito Luvumbo, joining Gianluca Gaetano and Eldor Shomurodov in the Sardinians’ attack and leaving Gianluca Lapadula on the bench.
