Only one team has the exact same number of points a year on in Serie A and it’s Juventus, as Napoli are 29 points worse off and Inter improved by 25.
At the break for international duty and with nine rounds left to play, Sky Sport Italia looked back at how much things have changed in the space of a year.
The only team to have the same results are Juventus with 59, although in real terms they only had 49 due to the 10-point penalty for financial irregularities.
Napoli were the runaway leaders last year on 74 points, whereas now they are 29 worse off on 45.
Inter are instead top on 76 points, compared to the 51 they had in Week 29 of the 2022-23 campaign.
Milan were then in fourth place on 52 points, compared to their 62 now, an improvement of 10 points.
Roma have not made much difference, sitting on 51 points this season, only two off last term’s 53, but while back then it was worth third place, it is now only fifth.
