Watch as Verona complete the comeback with a bizarre own goal from the ‘keeper and Josh Doig’s debut Serie A strike after Ciccio Caputo scored a wonderful curler on the turn for Sampdoria.

Hellas now have their first win of the Serie A season, but it didn’t start well, as Caputo turned Pawel Dawidowicz to curl an inch-perfect finish into the far top corner.

Luck was on their side, because Thomas Henry’s header bounced off the crossbar, hit the back of Emil Audero’s head and ricocheted in.

Moments later, Audero came flying out to deny Kevin Lasagna, but could do nothing on Scottish midfielder Doig.

Audero performed heroics after the break to keep the scoreline down.
