Kevin Lasagna showed great skill to send Verdi clear with a dink over the goalkeeper, but Dragowski rushed out soon after and broke his ankle, ruling the Poland international out of the World Cup.
There were saves on Nzola, Jakub Kiwior and Holm, but Nzola turned it around with a wonderful quick passing move and a towering header.
