Serie A | Milan 2-0 Venezia: Theo Hernandez impact sub

Stefano Pioli changed the game with his substitutions, as Theo Hernandez volleyed an Ismael Bennacer pass across the six-yard box for Brahim Diaz to open the scoring.

Alexis Saelemaekers then found Theo Hernandez with an inspired slide-rule assist to blast in the second from a tight angle.

  1. It’s still early to tell if we’ll mount a serious title challenge, but I’m heartened by our general solidity, our sequences of fluid passing, the squad depth and how well our goals have been spread out among the entire team.
What a crying shame that Kessie is on his way. I think he’ll prove to be more difficult to replace than Donnarumma or Calhanoglu in the long run.
