Watch as Juventus fumbled yet another lead with Alvaro Morata’s counter-attack, as Ante Rebic grabbed a Milan equaliser and only Wojciech Szczesny prevented a complete turnaround.

The Bianconeri had the perfect start in Turin this evening when a Rossoneri corner was cleared and Paulo Dybala sent Morata sprinting, keeping his cool to dink the finish over Mike Maignan.

Serie A | Juventus 1-1 Milan: Rebic responds to Morata

Max Allegri’s men have now lost seven points in Serie A from leading situations, as Rebic was allowed a relatively free header on Sandro Tonali’s corner to equalise.

Milan might even have won it at the death with Pierre Kalulu, were it not for the desperate Szczesny save.

  1. Juve goal is not a counter attack its stupidity i think that will more suited or how could you explain this? 4th Minute Corner Kick and the whole 10 players pile up in the opposite 18 yard box leaving only the goalkeeper at the back, Just 4 minutes into the match and the first corner and Right Back, Left Back and 2 centre defenders are no where to be found, that was hilarious.

  2. @Ayodele Ralph Palmer.

All part and parcel of growing and learning from mistakes. I think Pioli’s plan was to go for it from the off to try and demoralise the home fans and break Juventus, and it backfired. Still…the fact that milan pushed so many men forward for the corner wasn’t the actual issue. The issue was Theo’s poor headed pass which was intercepted for the counter. Sometimes he falls into the trap of making those 50/50 passes/dribbles in the most inopportune of moments/positions. In this case, it proved catastrophic. Ultimately, it was the only way Juventus were ever going to score. Either on the counter or thru a mistake.

  3. If I were Milan‘s management, I’d be looking at a good swap deal for Kessie in January. He clearly doesn’t want to be at the club any more.
