The home side fell behind early following a lovely half-volley by Riccardo Orsolini, but Gianluca Caprari salvaged the team with a first half equaliser, a silky smooth back heel. Nikola Kalinic secured the three points for the Gialloblu with his 85th minute winner, leaving Sinisa Mihajlovic frustrated on the Bologna bench.
Verona will now be fired up heading into their next match against Juventus on February 6, after the international break.
