Empoli completed a shock comeback with two goals in three minutes to stun Fiorentina in the Tuscan derby, despite another Dusan Vlahovic strike.
The Viola had most of the early play, a deflected Giacomo Bonaventura effort bouncing off the crossbar, before Jose Callejon put the ball across for Vlahovic to come sliding in.
It was the Serbian’s 28th Serie A goal scored in 2021.
However, Empoli turned it all around in the final minutes, as Nedim Bajrami first saw his cross flapped into the path of Filippo Bandinelli, then sent Andrea Pinamonti through for the winner moments later.
