Milan came back from 2-1 down to snatch a 3-2 victory away to Frosinone, as Olivier Giroud scored one, assisted one for Matteo Gabbia and substitute Luka Jovic turned it around.
The Rossoneri were coming off a dramatic 2-2 draw with Bologna, which saw both Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez fail to convert penalties. Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw, Tommaso Pobega, Mattia Caldara and Samuel Chukwueze were still unavailable, while the Canarini missed Kevin Bonifazi, Anthony Oyono, Marvin Cuni, Fares Ghedjemis, Nadir Zortea, Sergio Kalaj, Mateus Lusuardi, Jaime Baez and Riccardo Marchizza.
Tijani Reijnders won back the ball in midfield and Ruben Loftus-Cheek spread it to the left for Rafael Leao, who floated a cross for a trademark Olivier Giroud header at the back post.

Mike Maignan flew to fingertip the looping, deflected Demba Seck strike over the bar, but Rafael Leao charged down a Francesco Gelli cross with his hand just inside the penalty area. Matias Soule stepped up and lifted the spot-kick just above Maignan’s glove to equalise.
Christian Pulisic stung Stefano Turati’s palms at the near post, then Leao and Pulisic failed to get the final touch on a Giroud cross.
Leao sprinted down the left and his pull-back took a deflection off Caleb Okoli to loop up, requiring a desperate Turati save to claw it off the line and away from Pulisic at the back post.
Tijjani Reijnders was booked for taking down Demba Seck on the counter and will be suspended for the showdown with Napoli.
Leao twisted and turned to see his shot charged down in the six-yard box, but it was Frosinone who turned it around to take the lead.
Enzo Barrenechea took a free kick quickly, Soule’s through ball found Luca Mazzitelli and the angled drive went in from a seemingly very difficult angle, as Maignan was beaten at his near post.

A goal that that Mike Maignan won't want to see again 😬

Milan got back on level terms when Giroud knocked down a Yacine Adli cross on a corner and Matteo Gabbia was ready to nod in from point-blank range for his first ever Serie A goal.
Leao pulled back for the Ismael Bennacer shot charged down, but then moment later Bennacer won it back with a high press, floated the cross in that ricocheted off Emanuele Valeri and substitute Jovic was quickest to react to the unexpected rebound from eight yards.
⏱ 80' Luka Jović is substituted on.
