Empoli look to Mattia Destro and Martin Satriano against Raffaele Palladino’s Monza who are eager to extend their winning streak.

The Tuscans have never won at home this season, while the Brianzoli collected three wins in the last three games under new coach Palladino.

Ardian IsmajliLorenzo TonelliAlberto Grassi and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro are not available for Empoli. Razvan Marin is not fully fit so Liam Henderson starts in the middle of the park. Destro also features in the starting XI after scoring his first goal in 15 games last week.

The ex-Genoa striker hasn’t scored in two consecutive Serie A games in a year.

Monza are without the injured Luca Marrone, Marlon returns and starts over Armando Izzo. Christian Gytkjær and Gianluca Caprari get the nod up front with Mota Carvalho and Andrea Petagna on the bench.

The latter returns after almost a month on the sidelines.
