Serie A: Empoli vs Juventus – probable line-ups

Juventus will be keen to redeem themselves after their Europa League semi-final exit with a win away to a plucky Empoli.

The match between the Azzurri and the Bianconeri kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Carlo Castellani in Empoli.

Things have not been rosy in Turin recently. Massimiliano Allegri’s side suffered a painful Europa League semi-final loss to Sevilla, removing their chance for silverware this season, and a new point deduction is expected which’ll take them out of the top four spots, keeping them out of the Champions League next season.

The Old Lady are without the injured Leonardo Bonucci, Mattia De Sciglio, Nicolo Fagioli and Paul Pogba. Danilo and Juan Cuadrado are unavailable through suspension.

Empoli find themselves 14th in the Serie A table with 39 points, enough to guarantee their survival in the topflight this season. With three games left to play, the Tuscan outfit have little to play for now except pride.

The Azzurri cannot count on Koni De Winter, Razvan Marin and Sebastian Walukiewicz, all of whom are dealing with injuries. Petere Stojanovic and Martin Satriano are both in doubt due to physical concerns.
