Aquivaldo Mosquera, Elkin Soto and Macnelly Torres have this week been informed that they will not be continuing preparations with the South American side for this summer’s World Cup.
The remaining 26 players who have been preparing in Bogota so far, will now fly out to Argentina where they will join up with the recuperating Radamel Falcao, before a final four are cut to complete the 23-man squad.
Fiorentina’s Juan Cuadrado, Atalanta’s Mario Yepes, Napoli owned Pablo Armero and Juan Zuniga, Milan’s Cristian Zapata, Udinese’s Luis Muriel, Cagliari’s Victor Ibarbo and Inter’s Fredy Guarin are all still in contention with making it to Brazil.
