Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante and Cagliari star Radja Nainggolan are among five suspended players to sit out of this weekend’s action in Serie A.

The Diciplinary Commission have announced the players who are banned ahead of Serie A Week 23 this weekend and Cristante will be forced to miss the Giallorossi’s meeting with Atalanta in Bergamo.

Cagliari host Napoli without Nainggolan in their squad after the verdict, whilst Armando Izzo must sit out when Torino try to avoid their sixth consecutive defeat at San Siro against Milan on Monday.

Cagliari host Napoli without Nainggolan in their squad after the verdict, whilst Armando Izzo must sit out when Torino try to avoid their sixth consecutive defeat at San Siro against Milan on Monday.

Milan, on the other hand, will have to cope without Andrea Conti, whilst Sampdoria prepare to face Fiorentina at the Marassi without Sweden international Albin Ekdal.

The commission have also handed out a €6,000 fine for Fiorentina, whilst Roma were awarded a penalty of €3,500 after last weekend’s fixtures.

They will also receive a payment of €3,000 from Hellas Verona.
