Serie A strugglers Cremonese host a resilient Lecce in a battle between two provincial sides at the lower end of the league table.

The match between Cremonese and Lecce kicks off at 14.00 UK time at the Stadio Giovanni Zini in Cremona.

Cremonese currently sit rock bottom of the league table after 20 games, only picking up eight points, which all came from draws. The Lombardy outfit have found success in the Coppa Italia, however, reaching the semi-finals after upset wins over Napoli and Roma.

The home side will be without the injured Luka Lochoshvili, Giacomo Quagliata and Cristian Buonaiuto. David Okereke will not start due to a minor physical issue.

Lecce sit 15th in the Serie A table, seven points clear of relegation candidates Hellas Verona. They’ll be desperate to take all three points in Cremona as they look to distance themselves from a possible battle to avoid the drop to Serie B.

Kastriot Dermaku, Assan Ceesay, Marin Pongracic and Youssef Maleh are all out with injuries for the away side.
