Both Cesc Fabregas and Vincenzo Italiano could give debuts to high-profile summer signings, as Sergi Roberto and Tommaso Pobega are both in contention for their first league starts for their new clubs when Como host Bologna in Serie A on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday morning’s reports suggest there could be a handful of changes to the Como side following their 1-0 loss away to Udinese last week.

RB Salzburg loanee Ignace Van der Brempt could start at right-back, while Sergi Roberto could come in for his full league debut, likely in place of Maxi Perrone if that does happen.

Pobega, who joined Bologna on loan from Milan towards the end of the summer window, could come into Bologna’s midfield three. Nico Casale could also be given his first start after his arrival from Lazio.

There could also be a spot in the Rossoblu XI for Samuel Iling-Junior, who left Juventus to join Aston Villa earlier in the summer, before ending up on loan at Bologna in the same window.

Kick-off in Como-Bologna is scheduled for 14.00 BST.
