Figures that have emerged from a recent report published by the FIGC reveal that agents collected 7% of the total club revenues made by Serie A clubs since the year 2015.

The documents published by the Italian governing body a few days ago highlighted specific details of payments made to players’ representatives, which have set a Serie A record for agents’ fees.

Total fees of over €205 million were paid to agents by teams in the Italian top flight in 2022, which is up 18% from the €173 million figure paid over the course of 2021.

The previous highest total was set at €193 million in 2016.

Juventus paid representatives more than double the amount of any other club in the league in 2022, parting ways with just over €51 million over the two transfer windows last year.

Roma rank second in the list with fees totalling €21 million whilst Inter follow shortly behind in third with total payments of €20.5 million.

Since the FIGC began publishing records on agent fees, Serie A clubs have forked out €1.29 billion, of which 21.1% has come from Juventus.
