Serie A: Atalanta vs. Roma – probable line-ups

Minimal changes are expected from either Gian Piero Gasperini or Jose Mourinho when Atalanta host Roma at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in Serie A on Monday evening.

The hosts will be without Ademola Lookman, who remains sidelined by a muscular injury sustained 10 days ago.

Juan Musso is expected to return to start in goal over Marco Sportiello, who will play behind a probable back-line of Rafael Toloi, Giorgio Scalvini and Berat Djimsiti.

Marten De Roon and Teun Koopmeiners will partner each other in midfield, flanked by Davide Zappacosta and Joakim Maehle, as was the case in the draw with Fiorentina last Monday.

In attack, Ederson will likely be given the nod and will play behind Duvan Zapata and Rasmus Hojlund, with Jeremie Boga also in with a shout of being involved according to reports. .

For the visitors, it could be a similar line-up to the one that triumphed over Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Rui Patricio will be in goal as usual, defended by Gianluca Mancini, Diego Llorente and Roger Ibanez, who could come in to replace Chris Smalling.

Giorginio Wijnaldum is expected to drop out of the line-up, with Bryan Cristante and either Nemanja Matic or Edoardo Bove tipped to get the nod in midfield in Bergamo, with Nicola Zalewski and Leonardo Spinazzola taking their positions at wing-back.

Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini will likely remain in attack, with Tammy Abraham returning to the team in place of Andrea Belotti, although Ola Solbakken is also in contention as well.

Kick-off is at 19.45 UK time.
