Atalanta celebrated the Europa League triumph by flattening Torino 3-0, so will finish at least fourth in Serie A and deny Roma a Champions League spot.

La Dea showed off the Europa League trophy to their fans after the midweek triumph in Dublin, beating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0. Hans Hateboer was suspended, with Marten de Roon and Sead Kolasinac injured, but otherwise it was practically a first-choice XI. Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Ricardo Rodriguez were carrying knocks. Toro could still hope ninth place qualifies for the Conference League, but only if Fiorentina beat Olympiacos next week.

See how it unfolded on the Liveblog.

The Granata welcomed Atalanta onto the pitch with a Guard of Honour before kick-off, while Duvan Zapata was gifted a bottle of local wine by home fans, as he returned to face his former club.

The Colombian nodded a Raoul Bellanova cross over the bar and Charles De Ketelaere saw his angled drive flash just wide of the far post.

Atalanta took the lead when Gianluca Scamacca gathered with his back to goal on the very edge of the area, turned on a sixpence and smashed right-footed into the far bottom corner.

Fresh from his hat-trick in the Europa League Final, Lookman turned Samuele Ricci inside out to then fire over from a tricky angle.

Atalanta doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time, as De Ketelaere got away from defenders and pulled back from the right for Mario Pasalic, whose shot was parried by Luca Gemello into the path of Lookman.

Pietro Pellegri nodded a Ricci free kick off target and Scamacca had another goal chalked off because De Ketelaere had dribbled it over the by-line before pulling back.

Bellanova’s daisy-cutter skimmed the far post from outside the area, while Lookman’s goal was disallowed for a rather soft Scamacca foul in the build-up.

Davide Zappacosta fired over after selling a defender a dummy, then Adam Masina made a decisive tackle in the penalty area on De Ketelaere.

Adrien Tameze trod on Lookman’s foot for a penalty, which was calmly converted by Pasalic for 3-0.

Lookman had the ball in the back of the net again on 76 minutes, but was marginally offside.

Rossi came on for his first appearance of the season and immediately had to make a tough reaction save as Ilic came sliding in from six yards.
