The 2024-25 Serie A campaign begins tomorrow and Football Italia looks at the most expensive Italian players in the league.

A new Serie A campaign will start tomorrow, Saturday, August 17, with four matches, including GenoaInter and MilanTorino.

After a disappointing EURO 2024 campaign, all eyes will be on Italian stars, and Football Italia has picked the most valuable Azzurri XI for the campaign that is about to begin.

Five emerging Italian players in 2024-25 Serie A

We’ve picked a 4-4-2 system, allowing us to get at least one representative for each role. With this set-up, Inter have the most representatives (four), followed by Atalanta and Juventus (two each) and Fiorentina, Bologna, and Napoli, who have one each.

Oddly, three players won’t be seen in the opening round. Federico Chiesa has been frozen out at Juventus and is currently training separately from the first team, while Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca are recovering from knee injuries.

Below is the most valuable Italy XI and the top 20 most expensive Italian players in Serie A this season, according to Transfermarkt.

  1. Kayode is valued at 10 million more than Bellanova? 😂😂😂 Who is valuing these players? Paul Scholes?

  2. Never even heard of kayode no wonder seria full of foreign players that in the end all become worthless. Nothing but a $$$ shell game. These italian players are worth double its a Shame that no one is sticking up for them.

  3. Transfermarkt is very hit and miss with valuations.
If someone plays in the epl, the automatically add 10 to 20 million

  4. @Italian.
Kayode is italian. Why even comment on italian football when you don’t even watch italian football?
