Another Serie A season is over but we still don’t have all the verdicts as Spezia and Hellas Verona will meet in a relegation play-off with one of them joining Sampdoria and Cremonese in Serie B.

Napoli have won their first Serie A title in 33 years and lifted the Scudetto trophy at the Stadio Maradona after a 2-0 win against Sampdoria on Sunday.

Lazio have finished runners-up, qualifying for the Champions League and the 2023-24 Supercoppa alongside champions Napoli, Coppa Italia winners Inter and finalists Fiorentina. Inter and Milan will also play alongside Lazio and Napoli in Europe’s elite competition.

Atalanta and Roma have qualified for the Europa League after beating Monza 5-2 and Spezia 2-1 respectively.

Juventus won 1-0 at Udinese, but it wasn’t enough to earn a Europa League spot. This means they’ll play in the Conference League following a 10-point penalty in Serie A and unless UEFA ban them from European competitions in June.

Sampdoria and Cremonese were relegated a few weeks ago and will be joined in Serie B by one between Spezia and Hellas Verona.

Both sides lost on Sunday and will meet in a relegation play-off next week. Lega Serie A will soon confirm the date of the meeting which will be played on neutral ground.
